Isn't that the same as every team, every year? If you're not on a mission then what are you doing?

UGA fans are some insecure, over-dramatic divas. Nobody is picking UGA to go 7-5. I'm sorry it hurt your feelings that some folks think Bama isn't dead yet.

Isn't dead yet?

They were picked to win the conference.

Bama gets the rat poison and UGA gets

Our biggest obstacle this season is complacency.

The rationale behind picking Bama was so ridiculously dumb. "sAbAn mAd" derp.

They mentioned, but didn't discuss, the Alabama QB situation. They forgot to talk about how Bama will either start:

1. Milroe (Les Miles caliber QB)
2. Karate Kid who was miserable at ND
3. 5 star bust in Simpson

Alabama won a national championship game with 58 yards passing.

Total.

Getting rid of that drunk idiot Pete Golding and a-hole chin Bill O'Brien immediately makes Alabama better than the last 2 years with Bryce Young at the helm.

Ask yourself this then...why did Saban make such bad hires?

The disrespect will fuel the three peat attempt just like it fueled the second half of last season.

That's cool; I like it. They've proven themselves wrong before. We'll let bama have the pre-season honors.

If Alabama has 58 yards passing against Georgia they will lose badly.

I expect Alabama to be very good, fwiw, but if they can’t develop a downfield threat, they will struggle to move the ball against Georgia (and several other teams).

He isn't perfect. His first OC hire at Alabama was Major Applewhite. He lasted one season.

Pete should have been gone long before this off-season.

My point was Alabama doesn't need a Heisman level QB to win a title.

The biggest issue with our passing game last year was the play calling and relying too much on Bryce to improvise.

Hopefully Rees does a much better job in that aspect.

Not when Kirby is working your defensive sideline.
Walk on turned LA Ram Stetson Bennett agrees.

That was the playcalling?
Bryce: improvise

Or was the offense just not good enough to execute. It takes 10 guys to do their job to help the QB be successful. If one guy Fs it up... you get what you had last season.

Let's just tell the truth. UGA's first title was based on injury luck.

With Jameson Williams and John Metchie on the field Georgia could not beat Alabama , period. They got hammered in the SECCG because they could not cover them and even without Metchie Williams was running open in the NCG til he went down.

But, injuries are part of the game. UGA was due a break. I will point out that during this little Pax Georgia run they have managed to beat Alabama....once.

That and the run of consecutive years with multiple game breaking WRs ended. Burton, Brooks etc are fine players, but I don’t think anyone expects their production to jump to that degree in any coaching scenario.

UGA had 2 star and 3 star freshmen receivers and a freshman tight end.

Despite Bamas recruiting rankings, maybe our talent evals are just better than the Tide.
We won the game during the covid recruiting season.

Safe pick. No need to go out on the Desmond Howard limb of 2022.
