Every time Tenn tries to breathe life to itself, it slowly dies more

There is going to come a time where the fanbase will get excited for the last time with a victory over uga or fla....but it may be another 10 years before they can beat alabama.

Soon they won't care anymore and the SEC will be reduced to a big 5 unless we add Oklahoma in the distant future. And I don't get that because the state is having some really good talent.

ETA the other 5 fanbases are holding out hope for Tenn to come back. But it seems like it's over.

Nope. A down Tennessee is great for football.

It’s the only way Georgia can maintain any relevancy

Most folks would rather Tennessee be up than UGA. Tennessee brings excitement and great football when they are up. UGA brings gimmicks and bush league stunts to try to get up. UGA is as good as it ever will be right now and not a championship caliber program. They are a space filler because of an expanded play off system. Mark Smart is the pinnacle of UGA football and will never improve

Champions of life are built brick by brick through turn over trashcans and allowing your dline coach to apparently coach your qb.

Pruitt has to sign a top QB this cycle. Can't miss or he's in trouble trying to get UT back to being a real threat.

Pruitt isn’t the guy. We are gearing up for the 2022 coaching search.

Look for Gruden to be the top target.

You’re right - if we had hired Schiano he would be fired this year rather than hanging on till year 5 like Pruitt will, so we would be in a better situation had we let that hire go through.

You got it backwards. A down uga is the only way the vols can be a strong program.

This is maybe the yummiest melt ever seen on the Rant. And, by the way, since 1960, UGA has more SEC titles, the same number of national championships, and has won the division more times than UT. Your memories of national relevance are a delusion.

UGA has nothing to do with UT's success or lack thereof other than the head to head every year. UT depends on a down Clemson and a down NC much more than UGA. There is room for one of those programs to attract top talent at any given time.

Orange Nebraska.

Somehow, being barked at is better than hearing Rocky Top 400x.

I actually feel a little sorry for Tennessee fans because they want to be relevant again among the elite (Bama, Clemson, OSU). I just think its not going to happen. They're not bad, but to be elite you need to be the best at recruiting and hiring the best staff.
