Despite the fact that this most likely happened to State a few years ago (MAINE?!? WTF! At least Jax State is in Alabama!)

I sat through enough bad football in Curley Hallman's last two years to feel very comfortable saying we. I was in Tiger Band, so when UF was beating the Tigers 51-3 at home and getting ready to roll into the end zone again with Wuerffel still in at QB, I couldn't just get up and leave like everyone else did. We even had to play for them on the odd occasion that they made a first down. I went on every road trip I get get assigned to, and went to several on my own dime when I couldn't go with the pep band. Yes, I did have my education paid for with music scholarships, but I still spent a LOT of time and did a lot of work for the LSU athletic department. And I loved it. Excuse some of us that have actually earned the right to say "we."

Most people use we out of convenience. They know they arent on the team. Anyone who calls people out for using we is very lame.
