Even with $250 million, you can't take the rock hill away from the hillbillies

Misery folks, what's the fascination of sitting on rocks?

Guessing it's meth related

They don’t need to add real seats. No demand for them. Hopefully they’ll try to improve camera angles for football games, it looks like a high school game when they play at home.

The rocks were originally placed by students in memory of those Missouri graduates who died in the service of their country during the First World War, and have been maintained by the students ever since.

Tennessee doesn’t have a rock hill

I like the rock hill. It's just crazy enough to show they belong in the SEC, imo.

I haven’t sat on the hill since Chase Daniel was our QB but I used to love it. Tons of amphitheaters have similar setups and from what I have seen on this board, maybe SEC baseball stadiums too. You get room to move around and mingle with the group. I haven’t been to a game so crowded that I noticed a significant number of people sitting on rocks, just the grass.

Even as a Tennessee fan, I thought this was about us, haha

A texas fan probably won’t appreciate this. I think it’s cool. Thank you for the history lesson.

Mizzou desperately trying to become relevant. It's kind of cute.

Did not know this before now but I find it very cool. Glad Mizzou has kept it in their stadium design. Expansion looks nice, too.
