Even if given the chance, Gus won't run the score up

he'll be careful not to burn any bridges to Fayetteville in hopes he will return one day to his dream job as head Hog.
I don't think this game will be a blowout to begin with but don't count on Gus to risk his future for one conference win

I have a feeling he'll be given the chance before halftime.

Gus won't take a lateral move, much less a step down for an Arkansas or Arky St type job.

not a bad angle to come with...might get some bites

I do not understand how Gus could have any respect for anyone associated with the Arkansas athletic department. Given the chance he might decide to run up the score or he might decide to start taking a knee in the middle of the 3rd quarter.

this thread won't matter. Arkansas will play well Saturday. not saying they will win but they will play well enough that the blowout talk won't come into play. They didn't exactly dominate us last year.
Auburn fans need to remember it took TWO miracle plays for them to get to the title game and help from other teams slipping in the standings late in the season. It's not like you beat everyone by 50 last year. No reason to think that will start now.

Arky should run the ball well enough to avoid a blowout anyway.

same for Nick Saban against WVU because his dream is to return to the hollers of his home state and one day lead the Mountaineers.

Kinda hard to avoid this when the issue comes up midway through the second quarter. Auburn is going in with sandpaper wrapped around their dick.

Lots of BCS title teams got in because of this. And 2 of those teams slipped because Auburn beat them.

The bridge is burned bro. Gus ushered in the beginning of Arkansas' most successful period of football in history, and yet did not get any appreciation.
Thankfully, his performances elsewhere earned the attention of Tier 1 programs, so it didn't really mess up his trajectory.
I will say that if Arkansas comes around, which it will after another decade or two of cellar dwelling, perhaps they could get Gus to twilight his career up there and bring a little stability back.

Once CAP and Grant are sitting with a 17 pt lead, it'll be exciting to see what Roc and P Barber do at RB.
