Fact 3: We allowed no TDs to a team with three draft picks, some projected in the first round, on offense
I've seen atleast 15 Mock Drafts and none of them had Vanderbilt players going in the 1st round.

Should've looked for 16 Baw. LINK
Haven't seen any with Vaughn in the first round, but some have him second round now and say he could play his way into the first round and is capable of putting up a good combine.

Not sure where ESPN sees us being a top 20 team right now
Ratings now are more about selling games in a week or two...they have their eye on a top 25 match up September 28.

I don't see how anyone could have watched that game and think they were watching a championship caliber team. What I saw was a good team that would come up short against the true elite teams. Yet again

How the hell are we on this list?

Rather would trust the other 15
But yeah, I knew they were talented on offense, pretty sure they brought back a top WR too. Just thought that this class was so stacked that we wouldn't see them until the 2nd or 3rd round.
Derek Mason is also not really known for good offenses so it doesn't surprise me that the Georgia defense held them

If the elite is Bama, that may be. But your posts have been all over the place. At once saying this is the same team that barely lost to Bama the last two seasons, and then saying we'd get blown out by them.
If you think we tried to put the hammer down on Vandy in the second half and failed, you need to watch more football. Fromm made a poor pass to Kearis that should've been a TD. We basically gave them 6 with stupid late hit penalties that were not needed. The game was over after 3 possessions.

I saw Tennessee still had a .01% chance to win the conference on some ESPN metric when I was browsing yesterday

The Disney Dawg phenomenon seems to be making a comeback.

No, Disney is doing what UF is doing. Struggle win and saying it's perfect because we got the win and now Dan can really motivate them.
That was Richt. Different thing now. Honestly, best opener we've had in the Kirby regime. Take a look at the box in that 2017 opening game and compare.

They were a much better offensive team than defensive team last year. Ranked fourth in the conference in YPP in all games and sixth in SEC games.
Defense was near the bottom, with only Ole Miss and Arkansas worse.
From what I've read they are expected to be as good or better overall on offense (those people could be devaluing Kyle Shurmur's worth) and the same or even a little worse on defense. We'll see. You'll get them pretty soon.

Damn, didn't even know that.
I remember when he first came in a lot of people talked about how he was a great defensive coach and his defense was pretty good for a few years
Didn't really pay attention to much SEC East football last year outside of Georgia

No way in hell Oregon should be ranked ahead of Ohio State. Ohio State is just as good as half the teams in the top 10.

Oh good lord, Have some dignity.
We covered the spread in a conference game on the road to open the season and had 3 flawless offensive series to put us up 21-0 early before we clearly took the foot off the gas and went full vanilla. There’s no good reason for us to be behind a number of teams you’ve put in front of us except you being mad we didn’t run up the score and win 80-0

Can’t lie. Didn’t expect us to move to #3.
