And nobody was making the absolute change that they were.

I see Arky is ahead of Mizzou. If this list were on paper I would take it to the john and wipe my arse with it.

For a predictor metric, that sure is shitty

Not me. Mizzou has a QB on the top 25 "watch lists". Ark has Jefferson. No offense to him, but he's not a QB with accuracy

ou made an easy change vs what MSU did and you know it.

Here is what you did in 2019:

Ran it 37 times and passed it 29 times per game (average)

In 2020, You ran it 37 times and passed it 30 times per game.

MSU went totally in a different way. The system has very little likeness, unlike UGA. It's not even CLOSE to being the major over haul MSU went through.

That’s cool and all but it still doesn’t mean that MSU beats UGA. Way to many what if’s at play.

My point is that his mouth gets him in trouble and the only way State puts up with it is if he get a lot of wins.

What has Leach said at State that got him in trouble?

MSU was worse, much worse, in their last game than they were in their first...and here’s another news flash: NOBODY had a spring...all all those cute little “improving” stats for Leach at new schools all occurred at non-SEC schools

You mean State's bowl win over a Top 25 team, or State's last regular season game, a 19-point win over an SEC school?

Big talk from an OM fan. Beat State by only 7 at home with State having only 43 players. Then OM ducked A&M because they knew they would lose.

Leach's improvement stats were both at comparable Power 5 schools.

HAHAHAHA!

Wait so MSU played with 43 players but Ole Miss wimped out because of the same reason.

LMAO!

Iowa State has signed a total of 4 4 Stars since 2017 and their highest recruiting ranking is 46th. There is no freaking way they are the #4 team in the country in a normal year. I think their coach is doing a great job and they punch above their weight class (and pulled out some nice W's) but they just don't have the talent. The only way you can get to that logic is to assume the Big 12 is as good as the SEC which is insane.

I LOVE Mike Leach. He killed A&M at Tech up until the last couple of years but there is probably no more entertaining coach in CFB now that Spurrier retired. He's brilliant and so much fun. That said the magic has worn off. Teams with talent know how to defend him. He will always be dangerous and do well but he will also crap the bed and will never be elite.

Four pages in, and no LSU posters railing about A&M being too high on the list.

Rant is slipping.

Campbell is an exceptional coach. ISU is fundamentally sound, and they looked a LOT like A&M last year in their offensive schemes. They return basically everyone

As last year, the BDF is a two team race this next Fall - ISU and OU

Don't necessarily disagree though the sips could certainly get in the mix simply because the dropoff in talent from OU/Texas to everyone else is so dramatic.

That's a separate point though. To follow that logic you have to say that the Big 12 is stronger at the top than the SEC with 2 Teams in the Top 4 (SEC only has Bama). Considering the Big 12 has only had 4 CFB Appearances in 7 years (and is 0-4, all OU and only 1 game that was remotely competitive) that's the problem. They haven't won a NC since 2005 and are showing no signs that is going to change, their only claim to fame has been a few NY6 wins against SEC teams that were pissed they weren't in the playoff and didn't want to be there.

Iowa State is a good team and I have no problem with them being Top 15ish or so but they have no business in anyone's Top 5. OU may be good but I don't see how they are going to be better than the Kyler Murray and Baker Mayfield teams that were exposed in the Playoff.

I like Leach but that seems far fetched.

A lot of people said the same thing in 2013 about our team. 8 is a bit of a reach, but I don’t think Top 15 is all that crazy.

There was a guy on radio today who helped create the ESPN FPI.

He stated that MS ST had the #18 defense in the nation and returned everybody. That Ms St had lost 2 starters at Safety and they are back. The transfer of a 5 star DB. ETC..

2 QBs with experience.

Return all of their production.

Returning HC and staff
