I'm not trying to be sexist because there are plenty of terrible male announcers, but literally every woman I've ever heard call a football game has been terrible. They have the low voice and try too damn hard to sound like they know what they're talking about.

I actually think Doris Burke is a solid announcer.
I know a lot of rednecks hate her bc she's "a woman calling a football game", but she does a good job IMO.
To each his own if you don't like her, but I think she's pretty decent for 11 am Big Ten games.
