My friends dad (rip) was an LSU fan and I still remember being over at his house one night in 5th grade and he was telling me and my buddy about how amazing LSU’s recruiting class was that they got Clayton and Spears
But were Ryan Clark and that black podcaster still speaking in the present when they said “frick Saban” or was that them speaking about how they felt when he left
Then of course Clark had to mention several times how blacks were treated at LSU. Bitch, LSU been majority black players for decades prior to Saban. Get fricked you racist

I’d feel the same way if I was an LSU fan, but for me, it’s amazing
Idk why you’d subject yourself to it otherwise

Clark is a true piece of shite.
Most lsu fans understand what Saban did for the program. He’s the goat

I imagine LSU fans feel almost, but not quite, as hateful towards Saban as Kentucky fans did with Pitino going to Louisville.

True I don't blame them though.
If you were ever around LSU fans around 2003 and 2004 and could see how high they were riding, it was liked they expected to be the next Alabama.
Then Saban came to Alabama and when 2008 came around they were feeling it badly around then. Especially after the 2009 season.
They were even beyond crushed after 2011 but that was an extraordinary time of suffering for them.
Bama and Saban really broke LSU's spirit and they wouldn't even come close to recovering until 2019. And then Saban (and later Deboer) crushed them again and again.
It's been a tough ride for them.

Probably similar. At least Pitino didn’t win 5 championships and a Covid trophy at Louisville

Did they talk about the Miami Dolphins' team doctor in the doc? That's the guy who really changed the course of college football hsitory.

Ah yes, ole 2020 Mac Jones Covid Bama. People often mention that team right along with 2001 Miami.

Beating Saban in Tuscaloosa actually was better than him coming to baton rouge 2 years later and winning. He already lost the first game to his former team at his new house. That had to be more embarrassing for him than say if that game was at LSU and he lost. It would have been understandable since he was away. But LSU beat him in Tuscaloosa imo that was better than home field advantage win

Yeah, that win in 2007 really seemed to salve over the wound and let you guys move on.

Just imagine if bama and lsu got together made one school how dominant they would be

You see it a lot from casual fans of schools during a coaching search. “HIRE BILLY BOB! He ain’t ever coached more than special teams but by God he LOVES our school and will work harder than anyone! I know his grandpappy and he’s good people! He will get us there!!”
They’re the same people that think Peyton Manning would win national titles and have great offenses just because he was a good QB
