I'd say well deserved, which is really hard to say.

I have seen a ton of people who want him to win and break the streak of freshman status with the Heisman.

He's currently ranked no higher than 5th & has no chance. And please do check out his stats against LSU.

One thing is for certain - Aggie fans love the internet, so I expect an easy 25,000 signatures.

But why do you need the President's endorsement?

As an LSU fan, I would love to have Johnny Football. Sam Montgomery is right, Johnny Football should win the heisman. No doubt!

Please provide some concrete reasons why Manziel should be considered for the Heisman.

He was ineffective in at least two games this season and is not a statistical leader in key QB statistics. The media are pushing JFF down our throats because they dont want to admit they were wrong about Alabama's prowess. He had three interceptions against LSU and Johnny Failure cost his team that game.

Crown him.

He is the most exciting player in college football this year. No doubt about it.

...uhhh. watching espn this morning and of the two analysts on the particular show, one had Johnnie Football third on his list, and the other had him second behind only k-state's collin klein.

i also put jff second only to klein.

1) one of those losses was in his second ever game on the college gridiron, and he almost pulled off the win against a one-loss florida team, whom lost only to a one-loss georgia team. his other was against the sec's best defense in lsu, and that was mid-season. Johnnie Football has continually improved his game all season long.

2) leads the SEC in total offense.

concrete reasons.

Max - the Florida game was his first ever collegiate game.

Remember, the La Tech game was postponed due to Hurricane Isaac, so the Florida game was the first.
