I wanted to throw JC on a wide framed sig pic spanking Chuck Norris, or anything else creative with the photo. It's more box shaped, so it could be thrown on any wide rectangular backdrop.

This is my opinion, so take it as that:
Say you started (with a little money) and "picked stocks" over a 20 year period. I would feel safe to say that 9 times out of 10, the investor would have been better off indexing the S&P.

As far as my 401k, I contribute each pay period, and let it ride with a pretty aggressive risk allocation. No timing, don't care.
For my IRAs, I contribute when possible, but I don't invest unless the market has dipped...

Anyone have anymore thorough historical evidence supporting/denying the correlation of "seasonal trends".
I lean towards saying there isn't a sigificant correlation, but I've been wrong and foolish before....
