A&M is so obsessed with LSU. It’s sad. Aggie just doesn’t know how to view reality any other way than through the lens of little brother.

Aggie made a good hire with Chavis. Unfortunately, three components were not considered
1. Chavis is an effective defensive mind but not an effective recruiter.
2. Chavis changed his defensive philosophy to lighter and quicker players.. Texas has many of those but a 220 lb linebacker does not match up well against a 300 lb guard.
3. New Orleans. New Orleans made LSU, and made Chavis’s defense. Without those freak athletes to execute his schemes opponents scored 40 points per game.

Elko is a good DC, but shutting down LSU’s offense is equivalent to shutting down St Mary’s school for the blind.

One play where our DB didn’t turn and make a play on the ball coupled with a ridiculous catch = laying down? Gotcha Chief. After that UCLA game I would think that nobody knows more about laying down on defense more than Texas A&M fans.

I'm glad aTm has set the low standards of trying to beat LSU. The obsession is equivalent to LSU's obsession with Bama.
