Feel the same way, we are going to need to win the TO battle to pull this one out

Yeah, unless Arch has some kind of breakout, "here I am" game I don't see it for Texas.
This Texas season is reduced to playing to beat Aggie. There's really not much else to reach for.
I pray Sark announces his NFL job when this season is over - I'm desperate at this point.

It will be close I think.
After all, they both lost to Florida!
I know the SEC bailed out one of their favorite children to keep them in the playoff hunt, but UGA did lose.
Having said that I can’t figure out if the SEC officials want Georgia to win or Texas? If Texas loses, they’re pretty much out of the playoffs. With that in mind will the SEC officials actually let Texas win? More SEC teams in the hunt ya know.
But that might get tricky! If UGA has to play Georgia Tech without SEC officials, it’s really risky to let Georgia have two losses going into that game! Can that defense stop Tech?? Any chance UGA can win that one without some good ole SEC home cooking??
… oh the quandary!!

Get ready for a stream of butthurt longhorns complaining about this comment.
...but I agree. 100%.
No guarantee we can find someone better but if we know this isn't the guy who can get it done, why delay the inevitable? He's not getting fired this season, nor should he...but, like you, I hope he leaves.

It’s an elimination game for Texas and Oklahoma.
It isn’t for Georgia or Bama, although it will eliminate any possibility with another loss
the problem for Georgia and Alabama in these games is that getting a second loss in November usually costs you more than getting your second loss earlier in the season.
If OU and Texas were to win these games this weekend... the committee could possibly them above Georgia and Alabama...
So basically, the stakes are still pretty high for Georgia and Bama. They really don't have a mulligan here like they might have in other circumstances.

Bama does, UGA doesn’t.
I’ll tell you why.
If Bama wins 1 of Auburn and OU they go to the sec championship game. If they win that game. They are absolutely in.

OU has kind of had Alabama's number and leads that series head to head all time including 24-3 last year with one of the worst Oklahoma teams in history. A bye week coming off a road win in Rocky Top I think they will be ready.

OU currently has the 7th best SOR and 12th ranked SOS……just in the SEC. They act like they’d played murderers row.
The two best teams you’ve played you lost to, and you avoided UGA Vandy and A&M. Mizzou and LSU both won’t be ranked.
It’s a very meh schedule

It will be a tough game but we have you at home and this game has been circled. Expect our best.

Nah Texas can still get in at 9-3

Wasn’t last night circled too? Yall looked flat and bad. Wasn’t last year circled at OU?
It’s a bad matchup for Bama. Don’t see how Bama moves the ball on OU

You realize Alabama was favored by two TD's last year and we had Jackson Arnold at QB, a depleted WR core and an Oline that was mediocre at best.
I'll see you all that and raise you Jalen Milroe.

GA still gets in with 3 losses
Posted on 11/9/25 at 10:32 am to BoomerandSooner
Do you plan on scrapping your entire offensive scheme again? Milroe showing up to turn it over multiple times? Plenty of reasons it will be a difficult game to win for Alabama. But it won’t be because of what happened last year.

It's elimination week for 2 of those teams. 2 loss Georgia and Bama are still in. Heck 2 loss Bama could still win the conference. But yeah, Texas and Oklahoma are done with losses.

If OU plays like they did in Tenn they will beat Bama by double digits
Posted on 11/9/25 at 10:52 am to dallastiger55
Bama’s elimination game is Auburn not OU. 10-2 Bama is a playoff lock.

They won’t. And shouldn’t.
