If State wins it would be tough to get a high enough ranking for the Sugar Bowl with 4 losses. That would also assume Bama beats Georgia and makes the playoff

Sounds like some Elite Dawgs pipedream.

That place makes Tiger Droppings look non-biased and rational.

Glad that the two coaches are friends. Rivalry will still be intense but hopefully there will be no stupidity by the fans. I believe the players will play a clean but very physical game. Which will be refreshing IMO.

Wish more of your fan base was this level headed and classy!

Corral is going to be a nightmare for State if he’s in good shape.

State will need long drives to keep him off the field as much as possible. If he gets rolling he’ll drop 21 on us in a matter minutes just like auburn did.

Winner gets to go to The Outback bowl?

If OM wins I would a better bowl than that. Playing 30 minutes most games this year, if we somehow can stop Correl, I think we would be happy with Outback. We are going to score, although OM is playing much better defense than anyone expected, we just have to stop OM offense. First one to 30 probably wins????

State controlled Corral for the most part last year, and that's when he was fully healthy and had about 3x the playmakers at WR. And we did it with true freshmen and walk ons playing all over the defense.

I'm more worried about State's habit of starting slow in games. If State is efficient on offense, they will win this game, and will probably win it going away.

If you don’t enjoy the Egg Bowl, you don’t enjoy college football. It’s a fantastic game most years.

Mike Leach might be the worst Rivalry Week coach in the country. Long history of losing Rivalry Week games, including his last 8 in a row.

Never won one against an 8+ win opponant in his entire career. And only two ever wins against 7-win opponants (2012 UW & 2004 Ok. St.).

Ole Miss rolls this year.

He's a massive prick in 99% of his posts. He would not class if it hit him in the face.

That’s the picture I was looking for. Although on the losing end I thought that was funny as hell. Mullen was here for that one wasn’t he?

It should be a really good and entertaining football game. No lead on either side will be safe.

Another game where most everyone watching sports will be watching the egg bowl on thanksgiving night , great exposure for both programs

Cowbells will be clanging hard as usual.

Hope we can get through Vandy quickly and rest the starters for the short week for the egg bowl

Defense is definitely playing better, but still vulnerable to creative offensive scheming, like what Arkansas did.

Arnett needs to shelve cover 0 blitzes. When he does it with goal to go, instant touch down on a slant route. Anywhere else on the field? Huge gain. Corral will make them pay for this.

Completely agree with MS State needing to control T.O.P.; successful, sustained long drives could very well win this.

Make no mistake, Ole Miss is a very talented team. MS State won't survive many mistakes.

Legit rivalry that’s been reasonably even the last thirty years, two pretty good teams, two entertaining coaches, on Thanksgiving night. If you can’t enjoy this shite you might not really like college football.
