Sugar is in play for the winner if Alabama wins out. Citrus most definitely.
Winner will be third place in the SEC overall. Second in the West.
The way I see it:
Ole Miss win:
Sugar if Alabama in the Playoff
New Years 6 (Peach) if Alabama not in Playoff
State to the Group of 6 bowls
State win:
Sugar if Alabama in Playoff, Ole Miss to Citrus
Citrus if Alabama not in Playoff, Ole Miss to Group of 6 bowls
Winner will be third place in the SEC overall. Second in the West.

Glad that the two coaches are friends. Rivalry will still be intense but hopefully there will be no stupidity by the fans. I believe the players will play a clean but very physical game.

State is 6-4.
Have an easy win next week and then OM will beat them last game.
Finish 7-5 and they go to Liberty Bowl. If they finish 8-4 they might get bowl in Nashville

Forget the rivalry for a moment. It should be a really good and entertaining football game. No lead on either side will be safe.

NY6 bowl selection is decided by CFP ranking. We are unlikely to pass ole miss in those rankings whether we beat them or not. So they would likely go to the sugar bowl ahead of us. When it happens our fans will cry about screw jobs but just remember you heard it here first. CFP ranking is the determining metric.

If Corral is healthy OM wins but I can def. see State pulling an upset. I rarely watch the Egg Bowl but I hope that I'm able to this year. It's gonna be a good game.

Game is in Starkville, and will be a tough game. Ole Miss better compete at a high level for all 60 minutes.
