For LSU, why not put “lose key starters”?

Well so do other teams, but that didn’t preclude the same comment for them.

You're right, that is lazy.

They lost the QB and JoeJuan Williams to NFL.

The rest of the potential big losses all return.

Also bring in one of the top grad transfer QBs.

May surprise you.

When have you finished higher than 3rd since 2012?

Kentucky will likely finish above 6th in the east. Lost some good talent but highest rated group of starters are now going to be taking the field. Also, UK staff has proven that can develop. Imagine having that opportunity with guys that actually come in more talented. That is what is taking place. I would expect a much more balanced offense with AJ Rose taking over for Snell just fine. As mentioned, favorable schedule for a rebuilding year. Not out of realm at all to expect 8-4 season.

LSU has a leader at QB that won games for them last year when they needed him to.He also didn’t arrive on campus until after spring practice, giving him very little reps going into the season with a new team and system.

I watched him in person against AU. He is a game manager, but he can not carry a team against a good D with his arm. The SEC was devoid of good Ds last year with a few exceptions.

7. Ole Miss - lose the QB and explosive WR's, still lack a defense

flip these two

looks good otherwise

Illogical for you to think you SHOULD win any road SEC game.

I like how much Tennessee returns, and they get SC at home. Y’all both play Bama but Tenn gets Miss St at home, while SC has to play @TAMU. It’s close but I’m picking Tenn 4th.

I like the QB situation much better at SC than Tennessee. That's why I would give SC the advantage.

UGA did have some early defections to the league but we did have the youngest roster in the SEC last season. The strength of our squad will be the O-line and hands down it will be the most talented unit in the land, the one area we don't have quality depth is at QB. If Fromm goes down we are frankly screwed but if he stays healthy we expect to be back in Atlanta come December with another shot at the playoff.

South Carolina beat Tennessee by: 3 points last year 6 points in 2017 3 points in 2016 This year South Carolina plays Tennessee in Knoxville...UT has added Chaney as OC and Ansley as DC. UT returns 91% of their offense and 76% of their defense, where USCe returns 68% of their offense and 64% of their defense (see link). 2019 returning starters I'm not saying UT will win the game...but I do see how UT CAN beat USCe and finish ahead of them.

Regardless of the point differential we've still beaten the Vols the past 3 years and have a returning Senior QB to the roster. I think the QB situation in Knoxville is what holds them back this year. Adding different offensive/defensive coordinators always sounds good on paper, but until you see the results on the field you can't say it's a positive or negative yet. You return 91% of your offense from a team that finished 124/129 teams in total offense so I'm not sure that's the best argument to be making.

I guess that Tennessee should be 6th or 7th in the East then.
