West
1. Bama - great, now they're gonna be pissed
2. LSU - return a ton of experience, including QB
3. TAMU - same as LSU, but schedule not as favorable
4. Auburn - lose key starters, schedule is brutal
5. Miss St - lose key starters, jury out on Moorehead
6. Arkansas - transfer QBs to help, potential sleeper if defense improves
7. Ole Miss - lose the QB and explosive WR's, still lack a defense
East
1. Georgia - lose key starters, but QB returns + elite recruiting help
2. Florida - OL inexperience may delay Franks' improvement
3. Mizzou - Bryant stabilizes QB + they draw weak west opponents
4. Tennessee - hate the way they finished 2018, but they return a lot
5. South Carolina - lose key starters but return QB.. brutal schedule
6. Kentucky - lose a ton of experience but schedule is manageable
7. Vandy - lose everyone, no bowl this year

Tennessee too high, other than that seems reasonable.

Florida may be the better team(still debatable) but Mizzous schedule alone puts them 2nd imo
For me:
UGA
Mizzou
Florida
SC
Tenny
UK
Vandy

maybe in the big 12 (10) but yall wont finish that way having to play georgia, florida, kentucky on the rise, and i think (as much as I hate it) tenner could have a pretty decent football team next year.

You may be right. It's very close. Mizzou won big in the Swamp last year, but lose Lock. I like the Bryant addition and schedule.

I don't see how Tennessee finishes ahead of us to be honest. They have a tough schedule as well and we've beaten them 3 years in a row. Can't argue against Georgia, Florida, or Missouri being higher than us.

starting early this year huh?
How long will you vanish after your bi-yearly beatdown on the bayou? Loser

I like how much Tennessee returns, and they get SC at home. Y’all both play Bama but Tenn gets Miss St at home, while SC has to play @TAMU. It’s close but I’m picking Tenn 4th.

Arkansas SHOULD start the season 4-0, with games against Portland State, Colorado State, San Jose State and Ole Miss. If they can win the Ole Miss game, they go into A&M 4-0.
We would double our wins with 4 games, which is crazy. We lacked QB play last year(among other things obviously). Morris has fixed that with Hicks/Starkel.
We lost to A&M and LSU by 7 points with freaking Ty Storey at QB... who also put 31 points on Alabama, the 3rd most of any team outside of OU/Clemson
I personally think we finish ahead of MSU for 6th. Not world shattering, but a huge improvement in year 2 for Morris.

South Carolina beat Tennessee by:
3 points last year
6 points in 2017
3 points in 2016
This year South Carolina plays Tennessee in Knoxville...UT has added Chaney as OC and Ansley as DC. UT returns 91% of their offense and 76% of their defense, where USCe returns 68% of their offense and 64% of their defense (see link).
2019 returning starters
I'm not saying UT will win the game...but I do see how UT CAN beat USCe and finish ahead of them.

The question is how many pieces of the puzzle did we put together over the off season? We could finish somewhere between dead last in the SEC (not just the West) and middle of the pack in the West.

I think you could be right. We play 2 OOC games this year that are rivals and always have more implications than just a game. We also play LSU every year.
This has nothing to do with you or any mizzou fan as a person or fan hood, but your schedule this year sets up very well and your OOC schedule is terrible.
I like Bryant as an addition to your team.
Things set up nicely, but that’s why we play the game.

Who’s going to beat LSU out for second looking at everything now?
Posted on 3/5/19 at 11:06 am to RidiculousHype
Every year all the prognosticators look at the "number" of players lost and fail to look at the position of players lost. Was it a position of strength or will a newcomer result in the status quo. You start with the QB, but if the QB was average the year before then the chances of that continuing are high. In the West that give Bama an advantage and UGA and SC in the East. All three QBs have shown weaknesses. LSU, UF and TAMU all have QBs that do not overwhelm. AU, Miss St and Mizzou have to start over at QB. That is why the team with a good D has a good chance this year.

LSU has a leader at QB that won games for them last year when they needed him to.He also didn’t arrive on campus until after spring practice, giving him very little reps going into the season with a new team and system.
