It’s quite literally the other way around

There's a reason LSU fans are focused on Alabama as they are the team to beat in the West. There's a reason for Alabama fans to focus on Tennessee, except they don't.

Maybe you haven't noticed posts by Sabinbear, Myktide, Jacknola and cajunbama, which are focused almost exclusively on LSU. It kind of looks like they're concerned about the Tigers.

But then I can see how you wouldn't understand = as no one is concerned about the Cocks.

This seems like an odd comparison. Why not use 10 win seasons or top 10 finishes ? I am guessing those normal comparisons didn’t get the results you want .

Let Kirby start his first major coaching job at Miss State and see how he does.

Kirby must be a better coach than Mullen. He didnt have to start his career at Miss St (technically, Mullen didn't have to start his career there either. Are you saying that he settled?)

. Why not use 10 win seasons

Because 10 win seasons aren't great seasons anymore. They are good years, but if you lose 3 or more games you have not had a great year.

Teams that won 10 games
2002 Alabama (#11)
2003 Ole Miss (#13)
2003 Tennessee (#15)
2004 Tennessee (#13)
2006 Arkansas (#15) (lost 4 games)
2007 Tennessee (#12) (lost 4 games)
2008 Georgia (#13)
2010 Alabama (#10)
2011 Georgia (#19) (lost 4 games)
2012 LSU (#14)
2013 LSU (#14)
2015 Florida (#25) (lost 4 games)
2015 Georgia (UR)
2017 Auburn (#10) (lost 4 games)

If you lose 0-2 games you have either had a very good or great season. You can win 10 games in the 12 game era and still lose 3-4. That's a good year, but it is not a great year. Only schools who realistically can't hope to make the playoffs celebrate those (MSU in 2014, Kentucky in 2018 for example).

"Winning 10 games" as a big time accomplishment is a relic of pre-2002 10/11 game schedules.

I see 6 West teams ahead of Miss St on that list. Congrats Arkansas.

Kirby is 4 - 5 against the West.

He had the #6 team in the team talent composite in 2016.

2017 he had #4

2018 he was #3

Kirby can't even get a winning record against the SEC West with a top ten team, he would get the frick beaten out of him if he was at Mississippi State.

A+ Team, C- Coach.

Just a coincidence that the top 2 schools don't play but about 1 good team during the regular season.

So if Alabama and Georgia are good teams (are they?) then you think are, max, 4 good teams in the SEC? None of which are Auburn? Or is Auburn the only other good team in the league that they both play?

Bama fans love stats that show them in a good light. Here’s one that sheds light on what your outlook will be, when Saban is gone. How many winning seasons has bama had since 2000?

Feel free to find one that shows us in a bad light.

Are you the under the impression that when Saban leaves Alabama is going to go on 2 NCAA probations and hire Mike DuBose/Mike Shula? Did LSU go back to the DiNardo/Hallman/Archer days when Saban left?

You are going to be in for a rude awakening.

Most of my posts are in response to idiots. That's probably why you have noticed me.

I've noticed you for this very reason. You rank right up there with willietaylor, truetigertale, fightntiga and tractor tug.

It still amazes us that you guys can’t see that people make fun (with zero concern) of LSU.

You are not a rival and never will be. Regardless of record, we care about the AU and Tennessee games more - always will.

You guys need to start realizing that the obsession to Alabama is kinda unhealthy.

I don't really believe this to be honest. I think the focus is more about losing 8 in a row. Fans don't nutswing teams like Clemson because they think Alabama is the team to beat in the west.

Uh nothing the fact that we aren't 14th is amazing. That's a YUGE win for us.

Do XP %, I guarantee we are 14th there.
