XP is where I initially started.

Wasn’t as bad as I was expecting. 7th in the SEC since 2010

Mizzou and Florida are atrocious in that department since then.

We worked overtime to get that fixed last year

2018 - 120th (90.2%)

2017 - 1st (100.0%) (WTF?)
2016 - 39th (98.6%) (WTF?)
2015 - 1st (100.0%) (WTF?)
2014 - 73rd (96.9%)
2013 - 1st (100.0%) (WTF?)

Imagine the pain of only converting 87.8% of your XPs and 41.2% of your FGs in a season (2015 Florida).

I feel like I have, but the fact that I haven't and knowing how I felt in seasons past makes me think I might not handle it very well

Are you the under the impression that when Saban leaves Alabama is going to go on 2 NCAA probations and hire Mike DuBose/Mike Shula? Did LSU go back to the DiNardo/Hallman/Archer days when Saban left?
Bama was irrelevant from Stallings all the way til Saban. Don't act like Bama was only bad for a year or 2. Even with Saban Bama lost to ULM.

LSU was irrelevant (even worse than Alabama's dark ages) from Archer to Saban, almost exactly the same period of time between Stallings and Saban. How'd LSU do after Saban left?

I hope you truly believe Alabama will go back to the 4-9/6-7/10-2/4-9/7-6/10-3 roller coast of the Mikes. Will be fun to watch you find a new boogeyman reason that Alabama is doing well.

Alabama was also on probation from 1995-1999 and again from 2002-2007. We also made a piss poor coaching hire in Mike DuBose. Despite his best efforts, however, he managed to beat Florida twice and win the SEC in '99. Franchione would have worked out had it not been for the Albert Means scandal. That '02 was freaking awesome and was ranked #1 in the conference in both total offense and total defense going into the Iron Bowl.

Had we not been about to enter into major probation, I think Alabama beats Auburn and gives Georgia a run for its money in Atlanta.

Eh, I think Fran would have deteriorated over time. His recruiting was absolutely bottom barrel bad. He inherited some really good players, but his 2003 would have been bad. Maybe not Shula 4-9 bad, but bad.

In fairness, recruiting suffered heavily due to the NCAA investigation and the eventual sanctions.

Don't forget that those players he recruited formed the backbone of that 2005 defense that was so freaking good.

Yep. For example, it has always been known that had we not been under investigation, Cadillac Williams would have ended up at Alabama. He was a lifelong Alabama fan but the threat of major NCAA sanctions scared him away to Auburn. There were other solid players who made similar decisions to Williams.

What sucks is the offense Fran was running would have been perfect for a player like Williams. That I-back power option was a fun offense to behold when it was clicking.

Nothing personal. Just laughing at the image I had in my head of George Costanza delivering that line totally deadpan. Insult to injury...
