No shame in finishing 2nd to him, he was great before his injury.

If Davis really gets the 20-25 carries a game like Petrino was saying the other day, the only one that will be close is Lattimore, because he is basically all they've got and their going to ride him like a rented mule. They will throw towards Jeffery 8-12 times a game, and the rest will be Lattimore.

dyer's played one season, and was injured for some of it... i have no problem voting him 4th. This things are obviously heavily leaning on last year's results, which is often times a horrible indicator of future success.

Dyer has talent. I don't think he can carry the ball 20-25 times EVERY game. Knile and Lattimore can imo. I think TR falls into the same category as MD. All of these guys will share carries but I think TR and MD moreso. Dyer may also be hurt by the fact that since Aub is rebuilding a lot of their team they may play from behind more than the other three teams. This mean more passing and less carries to go around. It should be the other way around for the Hogs and KD will get lots of 4th quarter work against tired defenses.
Either way all four of these guys are world class or close to it. I don't really, however, see how somebody could call TR, ML, and MD legendary type backs and not include KD. It's not like any of the first three put up a 1,800 yd. 20 td season.

it always seems that a player's biggest jump in development occurs between is first and second seasons... i think dyer will be ready to carry the ball 20+ a game, but we'll see.

I'll just be honest I'm not as high on Latt as everyone is, but then again two of his worst games were against us.

Why? He's short, but not fragile. He's fricking jacked for his size.

He's good, but, yes, overrated.

Knile Davis is a good player, but he was the leading rusher in the SEC b/c FS and SS had to be 10-15 yards off the ball and back pedaling so they didn't get burned by Mallet. Unlike how Ridley, Richardso/Ingram, and Dyer had the box stacked.
I know the key was on Cam, but Dyer is still a good RB.

He was injured nearly every year in high school, and was injured some last year, correct?
Dyer, while looking ripped in stature, has not proven to last an entire season.

Yeah especially with running backs as they seem to have an easier transition game wise from highschool. Playing as a freshman and having a year of experience and offseason phsyical conditioning puts them in a good place to make a nice jump in their sophmore year. I think the difference with MD will be whether Aub's passing game will allow him get those 20 carries without 8 men in the box. I'm not saying Tyler Wilson is the second coming of Jesus, but I think it's a pretty safe bet that KD will benefit from a better passing game than MD.

I agree with that... Wilson and UA's WRs will make things easier for a guy like Davis than AU's passing game will do for Dyer, potentially. We'll have to wait and see... our pass catchers aren't on arkansas's level, but we've got a good TE, some experience at WR, and speed on the corners to stretch a defense.

Umm, in a word, no.
We've already seen that blown to bits.
Your team pretty much has to be in the NC hunt nowadays for your player to get a serious shot.

i think he does not deserve it because he is only a freshmen in college and he did not run that much in games i think mcaleb deserved to be in that spot.

Jerry Franklin should be 1st team over upshaw. JJ doesn't deserve to be on here at all. Besides that it looks pretty good to me.

I think i read where knile rushed for more yards against ohio state than they had allowed in a decade (not sure if it was really a decade but it was a long time IIRC). That is impressive whether he had mallett or not
