Does anyone have any idea what the deal is? He's in school and on the team. Where is the problem?

There arent any more games for him to play in until the spring game.

Was he in school in the fall?
My understanding from speculation was there was something fishy with some of his classes and/or grades.

Tired of hearing about this kid, until he plays an actual down of football at an SEC school.

I know he is on the team, he played Jefferson on scout team for Nov. 5. So, I know he's in school and on the team, I'm just not sure where the disconnect is. I feel like Norwood will be a great WR as well as Bell (great speed), but it'd really complete the trifecta if we added a talented 6'4 210 WR with experience. Also, has anyone heard of how well he has developed this year, would he be a big addition or just a "solid" player?

I heard recently hes learned how to tie his shoes .... so thats good!!

How long did it take you to think of ur nomenclature?

I'm gonna speak from first hand experience and you not to invest too much in one game from a player, i.e. Ware last year... So temper your expectations... Also Bell will loose his spot to Black, book it

All accounts I've read state he is unstoppable on the Scout team and they expect him to contribute in a big way to next years team. Can't wait to get another WR with his size, something we were really lacking this year

On this issue, we agree. He has to survive a Saban spring practice to even be considered. Then the grades have to be there. Who knows if he even makes it to the fall.

So what you're saying is, he could start at QB at LSU?

There were problems with his grades/courses transfering. But he's there n ready to play. He could be the x factor next year.

Will we still talking about Duron Carter and whether or not he's eligible in 50 years?

I'll believe Carter is playing the moment I see him running out of the Tunnel in Crimson
Until then, it's just a dream

Duron opposite of Eddie Williams.
Ole Honeysuckle better be ready to get that arse tapped again.

Average wide receiver at best. People are hyped about him because of his name. Seen him play twice in JUCO and he gets no separation even at that level. Has good hands but is rarely open.
Williams is a better receiver as a senior in high school than Carter was as a sophomore in college.
He was the second best receiver on his JUCO team at best. Funny thing is he had a highlight film go viral and people were talking how great he was. However, they did not realize that all the good plays were made by his teammate but they didn't look at the numbers because it said Duran Carter highlight.

Because kids can't progress over the span of a year.
Common knowledge that athletes are forever stuck at the same level of skill and athleticism.
He's a big body who can create mismatch problems. He's been at Alabama for a year with the chance to workout and train with the national champions. In no way could that have an affect on his ability to play the game? That didn't cross your mind obviously.
Just a year old highlight tape that according to you, wasn't even him. That's what you'll base your opinion off of.
Wow.

They can and usually do. However, some players max out early. More so the ones who have been coached up early in life and have reached their ceiling. He spent his life with Chris Carter and his wide receiving program.....no Alabama wr coach is going to coach him up much more than that.
I am simply saying he is not going to beat out some of the others on ALabama's roster.
He was a 4-stat (rivals) coming out of high school and a 3-star coming out of JUCO. They got it right the second time. He is average receiver with good hands.
