I think that tradition is cool as shite and would have liked to have made it out there for a game or two.
But, on TV at first when they'd show it I would wonder why they were showing a ghetto during a baseball game.
They must not have day-laborers in front of Lowe's in Starkville because the stuff that was built looks like crap. Like Jed Clampett and Jethro threw that shite together with leftover junk from behind the cement pond.

How is this a response to States baseball facility is a dump? They know it's a dump. That's why they are wanting to put 44 million dollars into a non revenue generating sport when they rank second to last in athletic budget

All I can attest to, since I have never been, is that every former LSU player ever asked bout the experience of playing there has repeatedly said how great an environment it it.

It will be 55 M before it's through. And yes our Baseball program makes money, the 55 million is coming from our loyal and faithful alum's and fans. And what about Mississippi's cheap a$$ baseball stadium, that Mississippi had to have help from Oxford to fund?
And by the way, we will rank third lowest athletic budget after the SEC withholds Mississippi's conference share for the period of their probation.

LSU could've easily renovated that facility like MSU is doing to Dudy Noble.
They could've spent much less and saved the nostalgia, history and atmosphere.
The exterior of the new Box is great, but I don't like the interior at all!
