My favorite part of the Drink saga is that his best season will have been with Odom recruits.

Which is honestly mind blowing because the cupboard was totally barren of talent because we were 3 star central. However Barry had learned from pinkel how to identify diamonds in the rough he just couldn't get them to play like pinkel could.

That’s part of his biggest problem. He’s still playing Odom’s recruit in year 3.

I hope Missouri will start looking for a better coach because it is looking like this guy has bit off way more than he can chew. Something needs to change, and pronto, or I’m thinking his days are numbered. Just being honest.

Y'all hired a dork. You shouldn't be shocked by this. He used to be Gus'coffee runner. Yes, I'm being serious.

I give him credit he fell into a G5 job that had 3 straight conference titles and went 11-2 the year before he got there and parlayed 1 year there into a big arse contract and a fat buyout to be rich for the rest of his life.

How did anyone convince themselves that a guy named "Eliah Drinkwitz" who looks like this:

... was going to be a good SEC football coach?

Sometimes you just have to trust the physiognomy.

Choi and the rest of the board thought so….which is further proof that they aren’t college sports material.

I think the quote is wrong. It was

"Losers....assemble in groups and complain they do.

Winners....gather as a team and improve they do."

Since he's such a Bill Parcells fan I wonder if he's heard of the quote, "you are what your record says you are."

Drink is 12-13. So he's below average.

I think most coaches view message boards and the media as noise the staff and players should not pay too much attention to. I don't see this as anything other than Eli trying to get the staff and players focused on playing the games ahead. It seems he could have worded things better though.

It was a bad loss but do not take anything away from Kansas State either. That team has many seniors that know their system and football.

There's no excuse for losing to Kstate 40-6 minus a score on the last play of the game. They're not Alabama or Georgia. It's nationally embarrassing and unacceptable to lose to a mid tier b12 squad in the way that we lost. A team like that should not have their backups in against us at the end of a game. I could have accepted a 40-35 loss or something with a sign of a pulse but we just laid over for them.

Yep, no one vacations in Branson MISSOURI:

"With now more than 9 million visitors a year, Branson has established itself as a go-to destination with something for everyone, and it continues to evolve."

History of Tourism in Branson

A few folks come to Missouri to see the Cardinals play as well...

"According to Greater St. Louis, Inc.’s analysis, the Cardinals are projected to attract 3 million fans who will generate $302.1 million in economic impact in the region. The analysis estimates the direct economic impact will total $141 million, spurring an indirect economic impact of $161.1 million.

Cardinals report out-of-town visitors are expected to make up more than 40% of game attendees. Visitor spending on dining, lodging, and shopping provides a significant boost to the regional economy."

STL Cardinals Will Generate More Than $300 Million in Economic Impact in 2022

I'm pretty sure MO Tourism > AR Tourism.

I’d love to gather with the team Coach Drink! Since you are open to us leaving message boards and joining your inner circle, how about you dont play the QBs that led us on 4 straight possessions of Int - Int - Int -INT!!

How about you get a QB that can make a 10 yard slant pass to a wide open Burden, the #1 WR prospect In the county. HOW ABOUT you put that kid at punt return instead of the kid that refused to catch a ball & let it bounce for -60 yards on the day.

HOW about you don’t start off your press conference after getting your handed to you by saying the 2-deep will remain the exact same.

How about you don’t burn a timeout AFTER a 5 minute media timeout.

Glad to be in your circle coach!
