QB - Edge OM. Chambless is the best in the country.
RB - Edge OM
OL - Toss Up
DL - Until I’m shown something different, I’m going with LSU.
Special Teams. - OM. FG kicker is a beast
Defense - LSU
Offense - OM
Close game with OM winning. Home field advantage will be strong on this particular Saturday night.

Team that limit mistakes (TO & Penalties) wins.

If the Ole Miss defense was better I think it would be a close game. But the Ole Miss defense has taken a step back from last year, and even last year they were mediocre. They mostly won because of Chambliss and the only reason Ole Miss fans are confident is because of Chambliss. But Chambliss doesn't have Kiffin as coach anymore and more importantly doesn't have Charlie Weis Jr. as OC anymore.
The biggest thing I think Ole Miss fans discount is the influence of Charlie Weis Jr. last year.
Pete Golding had nothing to do with Ole Miss winning CFP games last year. It was all the team that Lane Kiffin built and Charlie Weis Jr. kept it together.
Even in the first two games this year, the offensive creativity isn't there and they just aren't as crisp and efficient on offense. To me Chambliss will be exposed this year as nothing more than a system QB.
I've put down $1,000 on this game on LSU.
LSU: 52
Ole Miss: 24
And honestly, that's me being conservative. I could easily see our defense picking off Chambliss several times and putting 70 on Ole Miss. I know that LSU is just a flat out better team than Ole Miss.

Brevity, my man. All you really need to say was "LSU by a hunnend"

Completely disagree. I'll give Ole Miss the edge on QB, but Lane Kiffin and Charlie Weis Jr. made Chambliss. There was a reason he wasn't highly regarded as a recruit.
And remember, Kiffin and Weis Jr. will know exactly how to attack Chambliss. They know his weaknesses and how to expose those.
I think by the end of this year, Chambliss is exposed as a system QB that Kiffin and Weis Jr. made look far better than he really is.
Chambliss will regret coming back to Ole Miss and not declaring for the NFL Draft last year.

Are you Louisiana Cajun or South Mississippi? The difference is subtle.

Ole Miss will struggle to score. 33-17 LSU
Posted on 9/15/26 at 11:05 pm to Conferencefan
LSU-34
Ole Piss-23
But with the emotions surrounding this game, there’s no telling. It’ll be fun to watch, regardless.

I don’t see ole miss running on LSU. Green is going to go off on that OM secondary. LSU 38 Ole Miss 17

LSU by 43 points.
Why? Defense for both teams. One is very good. One is not.

Ole Miss will just be too much. The quote from the WR is just too intimidating and Pete is out to prove to the world that he was Saban's greatest protegè.
Ole Miss 44 LSU 7
Ole Miss 44 LSU 7
