If you asked an Ole Miss fan to create the perfect “MSU” head coach…..it would have been him.
No doubt. He was our Matt Luke.
.
Went 2-0 against Ole Miss though.

LSU has the better roster and better coaching staff. Defense and turnovers will be the difference.
Pete pulling double duty as HC/DC is a big advantage for LSU. Pete is not as good of a DC as Baker even without that distraction and the personnel are better for LSU.
Trinidad is obviously the best player suiting up, which marginalizes the advantage some, but not enough.
I want to think it’ll be close, but I think LSU runs away with it in the second half and wins by at least 17…
People are assuming Ole Miss is the same team as they were in the playoffs and think LSU is the same team of the last 3-4 years. Both are different.
Ole Miss had the best coach of their program history and still split games with LSU, who had their worst coach since Hallman.
Tigers win big and plant a flag on the 50 yard line.
Btw, this will be Ole Miss’s last opportunity to beat LSU for at least 5 years.
