we really do have to get pressure on Trinidad consistently in this game. He is a very accurate passer when given ample time.

When your path to winning requires the other team to turn the ball over a bunch, you don’t have much faith in your own team.

Ole Miss has shown holes in their secondary a cruise ship could safely pass through. If Sam Leavitt has a decent game LSU cruises.

If he has a good game Ole Miss fans implode .

I expect Chambliss to give the game his best, but I think he will be off balance and scrambling toward his weak side most the game.

Who knows how better to defeat the system than the architect of the system. There is an inherent advantage that LSU has in coaching. Ole Miss didn’t bring in a new offense and that will be their undoing in this game.

LSU 50
OM 24

If LSU wins, it's becasue LSU is awesome. If Ole Miss wins, it's because Kiffin built it and Golding is riding his coattails. LSU fans can find the victory in anything that happens. I've watched it happen over and over for many years here. Got a terrible coach and multiple bad seasons? Still winning because he was fired.

And for some reason, as a Gump, you seem particularly distressed by it.

If we don't win the coin toss, it means either Ole Miss cheated or Sankey was involved.

It's those fricking refs with their two sided coins. Sorry arse motherfrickers.

At first I was optimistic for the tigers when I realized that last year OM only scored 24 and that includes a pick 6 since I can argue the WR are down some for the rebels and LSU defense is looking better for sure compared to last year.
(But then I realized that we now have the offensive coaches from OM last year so maybe it’s a wash.) I will say from watching first two games, the RT for Ole Miss seems a bit heavy footed and I could see that being a good matchup for Prince but can he get Trinidad down is the question.
LSU defense has looked good but hasn’t seen high snap counts in a game yet so somewhat of an unknown how they will look in second half.

Right. If Ole Miss wins, I’ll gladly think about it as if I paid to help them win.

Lose and at least I made a little extra money

Solid strategy.

2019, the Joe Moorhead error at State. For some reason S+P rankings loved State that year. LSU visits Starkville and they're only favored by something like 5 points. I drove to Tunica that week and put $500 on LSU to cover.

I couldn't lose that day. And I didn't.

The fanbase of the losing team will not be seen around these parts for quite a while.
