If the video shows he just punched/elbowed/whatever a random guy who was just standing there and didn't run into him or mess with him then he should get in trouble.

Seems pretty simple if there are videos.

Didn’t Dre Kirkpatrick the original just leave bama?

1. I have no problems with fan field rushers

2. I don’t think any fan should sue anyone for actions during that rush. Its known a field rush is lots of emotions and moving parts - risk is high plus throw in likely inebriated fans.

3. Always respect and stay clear of players

And this is why rushing the field needs to be stopped. The legal system says they (and their parents) have full right to sue the university for not securing the field even if their precious baby is the one who helped create the stampede. I can promise you the moment someone gets seriously hurt or god forbid dies during a field rush the university will have a lawsuit sitting at their doorstep the next morning. It's not if, but when.

He left in 2012, played 9 years in the NFL. He's 35. Dre Jr was born while Dre was a senior in high school.

Because gis team got beat.

Serious question: When is the last time a player was injured because a fan rushed the field and tried to intentionally hurt players? Maybe it's happened and I missed it. But I don't remember it.

I don't know about physically hurting them since most people would be scared to do such a thing, but there has definitely been quite a bit of trash talking and generally disrespect for the opponents players.

Yah he’s fricked witness … hit from
behind …. You can’t just hit someone because they annoy you regardless if he plays football for Bama . Saban let this happen imo with the way he handles the last thug who swung on the female for no reason .

It's funny watching an Oklahoma fan trying to characteristic someone pushing someone away as a swing.

Let me remind you what a real swing on a woman looks like.

How did you feel about the last team to rush the field after beating Auburn? Can you give us some tips on being classy?

Florida and Bama don't rush the field. I get why some teams rush the field, but it's still weak sauce if you are supposed to be a decent team.

I am an Auburn fan of course I can give you tips on being classy. First you need to hire Gus Malzahn. Next, avoid previous mistakes by recruiting the suburbs of Atlanta, instead of the streets of Atlanta. Lastly catchy catch-phrases and build a team as if it's a family.

Profit on opponents tears every other, other year without the need for accumulating arrests.

BOOM!

Auburn has staved off temptation for at least 5 years. Impressive effort, really.

Younger than that.

Article from 2008 when Dre was a senior in high school
quote:

The best high school football player in Alabama peered into the stands during a practice pause at Gadsden City High this month.

Dre Kirkpatrick, the nation's top cornerback prospect, spotted his girl, Leonta Dill, and waved. Then he slapped the hand of a toddler who had made his way down the Titans Stadium steps.

The player whom every major recruiting service considers the best player in the state is that boy's father. He changes diapers. Tickle fights on the bed are his go-to move to get an energetic boy to take a nap.

Dre Kirkpatrick will turn 19 in October. His son, Dre Jr., turned 2 in June. Kirkpatrick may be the only five-star prospect who changed his course in life better than he changes direction on a football field.

LINK /

If Junior turned 2 the June before Dre's senior year of high school, then he was born in June before his Sophomore year of high school and was conceived his freshman year of high school. That's wild

SU players would probably hit fans too if it meant something to them for beating LSU.

No, they hit the opposing coaches' relatives.

This Holden guy should have just turned around and whipped Dre' Jr's arse.

I mean Dre' is just a cornerback... and if you can't whip a cornerback... who can you whip?

With face recognition, ban fans that storm the field for 2-5 years or something like that. Easy to find the fans who storm the field.

If you storm the field after beating bama at this point I’d say you have assumed the risk that a poor loser will assault you.
