How is trolling someone on Facebook a crime? Stupid. Sure. But when is “doxxing” an actual crime?

I always thought this was funny:

Dre Senior: DOB: 10/26/89
Dre Junior: DOB: 12/15/05

So assuming JR was conceived around 3/15/05, that’s puts SR at 15 years old. Dad at 15.

I count when a girl gets pregnant as the age she became a Mom. Same for Dad.

Dad got a girl pregnant when he was 15 years old.

Do you not understand what Doxing is? The dangers of it?

Imagine you are a witness to a crime. Then the arrestee sends you a nasty message and has a picture of you and your family on his Facebook with “Dis him?”

Would that be a legitimate concern?

Being a civil servant doesn’t exclude you from safety and security in your private life.

I’ll give you numerous examples of how it’s legal:

One, the US Govt allows a list of people convicted of sex crimes to have their names and addresses maintained on the internet. That’s “doxxing” right? They clearly think that’s legal.

There’s been fans that have acted unruly at games, usually on TV, in which the general public “doxxes” them, and they lose their jobs. I don’t think the people that “doxxed” them have ever faced reprecussions.

If you threaten someone with an online threat, then that is a crime. But if you don’t threaten anyone, and simply post a publicly available picture on your social media page with the intent of making fun of or trolling them, sorry that’s not a crime. Not in the US.

It it was, think of all the people with demeaning characterizations of Trump on their social pages. Trolling someone on the internet or basically saying “this guy sucks” isn’t a crime. It can’t be because if it is, then you just started a huge slippery slope of other things that would be illegal,

i'm normally back the blue and all that but what did he do illegal? you're a public employee and posted pictures of your children on the internet, and some guy messaged you to go frick yourself. unless he threatened him this is BS
eta: my main thing is cops stalk and harrass people all the time and get pensions for it. people get told to go frick themselves every damn day and people don't get thrown in jail. this cop is a baby and it pisses me off because most cops are decent hardworking people

Did you forget Bama fans use poison to get back at their rivals? Some shoot family members that don't show anger when Bama players get called for a penalty. This officer that is in a University of Alabama ruled town now has to watch not only his back every day, but also his wife and children at home or in school.

Taxes, agent, manager + living expenditures. He made $50 big ones in his career. Those first three things have him down to 25 right off the bat.
