The amount of research to find out their budget and this pic is staggering

Yet another Texas A&M "uhh yeah well LSU is poor and shite" circle jerk thread
Just trying to help our neighbors out. We got rich by using good financial practices.
I count 7 employees (at least) and 4 customers. No wonder you are poor.
Can't make money that way.

A&M got rich by being in a state with a lot of oil

A lot of the country has plenty of oil, yall just don't know how to get it out of the ground or how to have a local regulatory environment where getting it out of the ground is worthwhile.
Louisiana has plenty of oil, but yalls tax regime for oil is so fricked up and convoluted that many companies simply don't want to frick with it.

Better question from the pic in the OP: How many coonasses does it take to run a corndog stand?
Just one, your wife and sister.

All of that is true and, yet, A&M football still can’t beat LSU in SEC play

Texas produces three times as much oil as any other state. They are followed by North Dakota and Alaska. So no, the rest of the country has nowhere near as much oil as Texas. And North Dakota and Alaska don't have major athletic departments to reap those benefits.

He's not wrong about Louisiana's tax and regulatory policies re: oil being extremely fricked up

You've obviously never taken in a hockey game in Juneau

no, but Louisiana still doesn't have nearly as much oil as Texas does. Texas has 10.5 billion barrells of oil reserves. Louisiana doesn't even crack the top 5 states in the country, and New Mexico is 5th with 1.2 billion barrells. Texas has almost twice as much oil reserves as the state with the 2nd most, Alaska.

If it wasn't for us you'd still have that same shitty stadium

And we have five Power 5 programs to split that between in the state, plus the Cowboys and Texans. Us Aggies don't have sole ownership of the mindshare like LSU has with Louisiana.

Are you really trying to argue that the Texas schools don't have the money they have because of the oil industry? I mean seriously. Having 10 times the amount of oil reserves and production as Louisiana (and twice as much as any other state) is extremely relevant to how much money is available for people to donate to your football program. The state also has 6 times the population that Louisiana does. That, alone, compensates for the number of P5 schools each state has. A&M also has 70k students, while LSU has 30k. With that many more alumni and the oil money in the state dwarfing anything Louisiana has, one would expect A&M to have more money to spend.

That’s an old pic. Those were volunteer church/school groups. LSU outsourced the whole operation last year and it was terrible.

So you admit Texas is the best.

Honestly, as much as I love going to games at the stadium it does look/feels like you are touring a Mad Max movie set. Again, the atmosphere is great and I enjoy going to games there but it does need major improvements. My LSU alum friends have been harping on this for years.
