Ah yes, the ranked TCU team that won't be playing a bowl this season...

That's not the point. They were a quality opponent when we agreed to go on the road and play them. It's not our fault we zapped their confidence.

UL, however, is a solid team that would play LSU anywhere anytime, but you dodged them to take on a subpar TCU team.

WTF???

It DOES:

Tulane is the University of Louisiana, it's just privately run now.

SCAR should be worried about ending Dabo and Big Bro's "SEC win streak"

Maybe the rest of the SEC's Big Bro's. We have had no trouble with Clemson recently.

This is the team you claim that we "dodged"?

You played them 3 times since WWII, like I said, scared, you didn't have to provide data to prove my point.

No because we love our state. Every rival we have had we have owned. Ole miss is the only one who gets a win from time to time.

Tulane: pounded into irrelevance
Ole miss: still relevant, but once every 10 years.

LSU took care of business and destroyed the football program of Tulane, their in-state rival. Before LSU kicked its program into high gear, Tulane was a respectable rival and a former member of the SEC. I watched the Green Wave beat LSU more than once.

If you have a prolonged rivalry, it just means that neither team works very hard to overtake the rival and both teams enjoy the "well, our season stunk but at least we beat our rival" aspect of the game. Prolonged rivalries are for programs that don't have the guts to stare their rival in the eye while giving them the proverbial bayonet.

I would think that both Alabama and Auburn would be above the thought of having a true rival but I guess I'm wrong.

For a team that lost 8 straight, yes, UL is legit...

The could play The University of Louisiana on a yearly basis, but they are scared.

We played Tulane every year up until 2007, but they couldn't compete.

I guess it's useless explaining to Baylor fan that a little ole thing called "strength of schedule" is important when you are an SEC team with national championship aspirations every year.

You have to finish higher than 3rd in the SEC-West to have any aspirations of a NC, LSU has not done that for years now, all part of #tDecline.

The fact that Auburn is 10-1 and is still in contention for the SEC title is just killing you isn't it....LOL
