I count 5 schools who have won the College World Series in the East. Only 1 in the West.

You make a good point and it’s peculiar, although one of those was from Missouri from like 50+ years ago.

In defense of the East teams, most of them are in much closer proximity to MLB teams.

How am I being stupid? Let’s look at the Big 3. Football, SEC West won. Basketball, the SEC Champion and Tournament Champion was from the West, and it looks like in baseball the east is going to be relying on UGA to carry them otherwise we’re looking at a clean sweep by the west. What is this 2008?
