People keep talking about Sellers getting hurt, but LSU was already in the lead when Sellers came out for the rest of the game. He had one long run for a TD. Outside that run, he had 9 carries for 13 yards and was meh throwing the football that day. Sellers also didn't really hit his stride until the second half of the season. He was wildly inconsistent before that. Sellers getting hurt also doesn't explain how LSU scored 33 points in the last 3 quarters of the football game.

South Carolina had every opportunity to win that game. LSU was stopped on 4th and goal from the 1. LSU fumbled on their own 25. LSU didn't capitalize on any of the USC turnovers

And even through all the bad breaks South Carolina felt they had, LSU had to drive the length of the field to take the lead with a few minutes to go in that game. South Carolina couldn't get a stop and then missed a FG to tie the game.

Except Sellars wasn't 100% in Alabama game either. He had an injured ankle. That's why Robbie got multiple series in the game.

Ashford 1/1 for 4 yards
2 carries 11 yards

Looks like one series.

Those pesky facts, though.

Did Sellers play the entire game vs Ole Miss?

No. Neither did Rocket Sanders.

so couldn't they deduce that USC beats LSU if Sellers plays the entire game

No fricking way anyone in the committee puts enough effort into it to remember details like this.

You know the QB can give it to other players, right?

Lsu was looked as a possible playoff contender and the officiating crew had to protect them. If Lsu officials had any honor they would forfeit that game lol

and half-way decent officiating.
Can’t really use that one. We haven’t had halfway decent officiating in just about any game.

Usce would've beaten lsu with sellers and they deserve to be in the playoff.

How you are playing matters. They could win some games if they get in

If Sellers didn’t find his inner Milroe when they played at Bama, we wouldn’t be having this conversation and Carolina would be in easily.

Fumbling twice, once off his own helmet, was definitely channeling his inner Milroe.

If if’s and buts were candy and nuts, we would all have a Merry Christmas.

Injuries are part of the game. Every team could say “well what if we had so and so…”

LSU had several key players out. It is what it is.

I think they do but ultimately Bama will get the nod.

You could have been on the bubble with a loss last week. Half-way decent refs and Tech wins that game.
Want me to act like LSU fan and post screenshots of penalties the ACC refs missed against GTU?

The officiating sucked, but there wasn't one call one way or the other that comes close the the impact the roughing the QB penalty on South Carolina had on the game.

Good point dude.

Officiating has been arse across the board this season, and not just in the SEC.

Go back to that TD review with Miami and Virginia Tech to see that it isn't just the SEC that suffers from it.

Why does that matter; if LSU coaches had prepared the team for a running qb we would hv beat Alabama.

That non-call on the targeting of King was pretty bad and it did impact the game. Regardless, I’m not interested in a tit-for-tat with you here, I just remember thinking after your game vs Georgia Tech last week that Georgia fans had no business bringing up refs in our game vs Scar.

I bitched about that one. Definitely cost Va Tech the game.

I bitched about the bullshite call that probably cost South Carolina the game.

I bitched about the bullshite illegal touching that probably didn’t change the outcome of the Oklahoma game. Probably changed the narrative around it though.

I was there. Just about every Tiger fan felt fortunate to get out with the win and no doubt would have been a different outcome if Sellers played the whole game.
