Does Texas think that they will fair any better than SC and Arkansas?

in 29 years neither has done jack shite and Texas won't either. At least OU loses in the playoffs.

I like Oklahoma but I honestly don't see them doing any better than A&M. I think Texas will be at Miss St level for some time.

He'll have a good offense but he won't be able to recruit as well as he thinks he will.

Everybody is giving A&M fans so much shite but the fear is so real for UGA. They know that OU and those top 5 classes and the most elite QB factory ever seen in football is coming for them all. Number 1 QBs committed for the next 2 cycles and more after that.

I don't think anyone thinks Texas is just going to come in and dominate or anything like that. I'd fully expect them to bet average the first ~2years at the level of SC/Arkansas.
With that said, if you really think they'll remain on that level then that's pretty foolish. Texas has largely recruited well in the Big 12, and the only recruiting disadvantage they had (not being in the SEC) is null and void.
At this point, it's all on coaching, will it be Sark? Who knows, but at some point that piece will be solved.

Arkansas just led the conference with 10 conference or tourney championships. Over double the next school.
