Texas is just another used-to-be. Kind of like the other UT in Knoxville. Arkansas is the bottom 3rd of the SEC and they beat you stupid. You guys are on par with Vandy. And they have more elite alumni so don't throw that shite on us. I doubt we would have taken you without OU.

Nice. But...do you think Texas' revenue will jump just by having Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Txas A&M, Auburn etc on the schedule?
I think what frustrates many SEC fans is Texas fans seem to think they are autonomous and can survive on their own and they are the only thing that brings value. BUT, it was Texas and Oklahoma that came asking to join us. The SEC was going gangbusters without Texas and Oklahoma, but the BIG 12 was dying with Texas and Oklahoma.
You can keep thinking y'all are indispensable all you want, but you can't ignore that the SEC was strong before you but you were dying before the SEC.

This people always look at the top programs like Bama, Auburn, LSU, Florida, UGA, etc.
Its easy to get a team up for that type of game , but the Arkansas, Ole Missouri Mississippi State, Kentucky, Missouri etc You can't just show up and expect those teams to lay down.
13/14 Teams have resources and a serious commitment to football. 10 or so of the teams have access to really talented players as well.
Ole Miss and Mississippi State both hade 3 1st rounders in a draft recently. Ole Miss in 2016 and Mississippi State in 2019. Even the small schools can put together talented rosters.
