You gave up 5 in the 7th and 1 in the 8th. And yes, Friday night was awful. As was Wednesday. This isn't a great LSU team.

Army does not even throw the ball either. They just run and control the time of possession.

No, but any A&M fan has to be happy with the offensive output so far. Next weekend at Frisco will tell the tale about whether they're legit or not. (I think they are, but damn there are a bunch of good SEC teams.)

Only 3 today and 3 total for the 3 game series. We had more home runs hit in series than they had base hits in series.

2019 - .234 AVG, 49 runs, 60 hits, 8 doubles, 2 triples, 3 HR, 39 RBI, 35 BB, 31 K
2020 - .359 AVG, 107 runs, 99 hits, 22 doubles, 2 triples, 11 HR, 89 RBI, 56 BB, 57 K
Before anyone asks about pitching, through 8 games:
2019 - 2.00 ERA, 16 ER, 96 K, 16 BB
2020 - 3.13 ERA, 24 ER, 100 K, 22 BB
We've allowed the equivalent of 1 extra run per game while scoring the equivalent of 7.25 extra runs per game.

The Count comes through! I've no idea how they'll stack up in conference, but you'd have to be blind to not appreciate the improvement over last year.

No, Ole Miss didn’t give up 12 runs today. In fact, Texas A&M gave up 4x as many runs today as Ole Miss gave up all weekend.
Texas A&M gave up more runs today than Ole Miss has in the past 4 games for that matter.
And for all the talk about A&M’s offensive performance, we actually scored 3 more runs this weekend than Texas A&M did.
