The dude has gone from having to scheme against the likes of chizik miles and Houston nutt when he was building bama up to now malzahn Orgeron (with a high profile scheme) leach jimbo and Kiffin.

He’s never had to play against high profile offenses week in week out. He built up on scheming against old school I form teams. Sure in between those malzahn and freeze occasionally gave him some fits but those were isolated not division wide.

Yea, Saban is known to get scared and run away from challenges, so his reaction to all this will definitely be to quit.

Heard he was on his way to Baylor because he was so scared of the SEC West

If he retires it won’t be for a reason you listed . Not many I teams left these days . His scheming will be fine

What exactly are you proposing that he was running away from in the AFC East? I hear constantly from Patriot haters that it’s the awful division that allowed for their success.

Imagine the ire of the GED-educated fan base when Leach beats them. Saban will just love that.
