Incredible run.

He doesn’t like NIL and with the playoff expansion it only adds more to get the trophy.

Possible, but on the flip side this has clearly been as fun as he's had coaching in a long time and he doesn't exactly seem to be looking to hang it up. Combine that with (presumably) both coordinators returning, as big a chunk of the roster returning as he's had in a long time.......I dunno.

Frankly I think there comes a day when Terry looks at him and says "Time to be done" and that's the end.

Maybe, but his best team ever may be next years.

Wow. And to think he made that catch while #4 had his arm pinned and was holding on to his jersey.

Unbelievable.

I’m respectfully asking about the GOAT.

I cannot imagine what these head ball coaches have to handle with all the social media shite, changing conferences, NIL, endorsements, playoffs.

He may say peace out and be done.

Yeah, I’m sure he’ll give everyone a heads up when he’s ready. Hopefully it won’t be due to health issues.

He seems to love what he’s doing now and I’d imagine it would be difficult for him to just shut down after this.

I'm with you - I thought all the changes in the last 2-3 years would make him tired of it all. And then after the last 2 years where we were clearly less disciplined, not mentally tough, soft, "nervous", etc......it just felt like things were slipping and he hated it all.

But then this year progressed and the guy is in love with all of it again. So I'm really not sure. He could retire the morning after the title game and it wouldn't surprise me. He could stick around for 5 more years and it wouldn't surprise me.

That would explain why the committee gave Bama the spot. A goodbye kiss before sending him back to the hole he crawled out of.

He'll keep going until he snaps like Woodie Hayes.

if his last act as Bama HC is to pimp slap a Clemson player, then he has my blessing

He looks significantly less tired this year than the past couple. Which sucks for the rest of us

He will continue to add years between NCs until Bama fans run him out of town. Half turned on him and Milroe after just this year's Texas game. He has trouble playing 1 top 4 team and now has to play 2 in a row. Next year it will be worse. His NCs have dropped off since he had to play 2 teams instead a 1 game fluke.
