Does Ole Miss go up or down in the polls?

Voters who didn’t watch may think they should have handled Louisville.
Others could think they look a whole lot like the team that was within seconds of the title game last year

They should go down. That was pathetic.

Definitely up a few or stay level. No one below them played anyone that would merit jumping them

You don't get punished for bearing rank team and rankers don't want to be wrong

Agreed

Maybe down a spot but not much movement since it was a top 25 win

I doubt we move down since it was a top 25 win at a neutral site. We probably stay the same

They’ll go down. Mainly because no one lost ahead of them, and LSU will jump them.

They stay were they are. I don't see any movement happening in the top 20.

I think they'll drop from 9 to 12 in the AP as LSU, Alabama, and USC jump them, deserved or not (not, specifically, in the case of USC)

There's no reason to drop Ole Miss for winning aTop Twenty-five matchup. It was the only one this weekend. Louisville had won three straight nine-win seasons, and Jeff Brohm is a well-respected coach. All sixteen SEC teams won their openers, but except for Auburn versus Baylor and LSU versus Clemson, the matchups were SEC versus Cupcake U.
Both LSU and Ole Miss should be 2-0 on Sept. 19th, and whoever wins that game will settle any arguments about who should outrank the other. That said, it's clear that Louisville is a much better team than Clemson is.

Well we know they’ll get jumped in the polls by LSU either way before that showdown. Just one extra little reason for them to get mad since they were so giddy about being ranked higher. Good thing their stadium only holds 62k. When Kiffin steps back in Oxford it’ll be like he stepped in an ant pile

Did anyone above them lose?

Preseason polls mean nothing. Week 1 polls mean next to nothing.
That said, we did not look very sharp. D backs will have to improve a lot if we’re gonna have any chance.

I think they'll go down two spots. I don't see any team currently above them going down to below #9. I think Oklahoma and LSU jump them.

I agree. They swap with LSU. Everyone watched the LSU game and at least 1/2 the Ole Miss game.
It will add to the hype for their matchup.
Ole Miss plays Charlotte this week. Will be interesting if the 49ers can move the ball down field.

Switch spot with LSU while Louisville goes up 2 spots.
