They look like a truly horrible team. Does he get more than one year?

Would be incredibly stupid. OBC left that cupboard bare.

If he gets fired after just 1 year, Cocky deserves to suck.

The biggest jump is almost always from Year 1 to Year 2, and you really find out about a coach in Year 3.

South Carolina sucks arse and are only now returning to their rightful place. Their younger fans might be a little testy but they will soon submit.

He'll get that defense to a point where they'll be relatively competitive in a couple of years. But it seems like nothing has changed at all on the offensive side of the ball.

Scoring only 10 pts against this Kentucky defense is unfathomable.

It's virtually unheard of for a coach to get fired after only one or two years for performance-related reasons. I know Ellis Johnson got fired after one year at Southern Miss but that was a situation where Johnson led USM to their worst season in school history after taking over a 12-2 team. That was a special kind of bad. South Carolina really has to give Muschamp at least three years if they want to attract any type of decent candidate in the future because nobody will want to coach a school that is so kneejerk that they fire a coach after one year.

Recruiting is going to get difficult. They needed a solid year. OBC was a draw but Boom is not on the offensive side of the ball
