It's the SEC East. He has a great chance to continue 10 win seasons at UGA, and if he gets lucky he may even win the SEC.

if he tries to coach like his former boss does, he'll have a mutiny on his hands. very few can get away with that shite.

I'd say he has similar success. Richt didn't get enough credit for having the team not tank it this year after Chubb was injured. Florida should have stomped us like they did with what we were playing with on offense.

Kirby says he is going to have to get more depth from recruiting and everyone says UGA is ideal job because of how many elite recruits come from GA but everyone recruits GA and it is impossible to get all of the instate talent. Plus sometimes you can get better players from out of state...AJ Green, Aaron Murray, Todd Gurley...

In the end I say similar success but hopefully Kirby gets a few breaks Richt didn't and we win a natty! Go Dawgs!

In Richt's career at Georgia, 5 SECCG appearances, 2 SEC titles.

In 15 years, that's getting to the game once every 3 years, however he didn't win an SEC title in his last 10 years.

So the benchmark is pretty much, 3 SEC titles in his tenure there, or 1 national title.

He does that, he trumps Richt.

I hope he has success as a HC don't get me wrong, I like Smart a lot and respect UGA's program. I just don't think he has the chest for it.
