I think you can add Tennessee under Barnes to this list as well. I can't speak to his time at Texas, nor really care tbh, but he's done a good job representing Tennessee in his time here. He's openly and fairly loudly at times spoke out against the cheating that's going on across the country. And how dirty some of the AAU camps, middlemen, agents, and shoe/apparel companies can be. He does a good job of staying in his lane and doesn't get overly specific or throw names out, but he's definitely against it.

There's a reason why our roster is made up almost entirely of 3 stars from his first 3 recruiting classes. Obviously now that we've started to win a bit more the type of players that are considering us are getting better and better, but that's from developing those 3* into 4 & 5* guys and recruits taking notice in recent years.

Wisconsin and Michigan doesn't strike me as programs that cheat. They usually lose top instate players and have to find gems, developing them. Gonzaga does alot of foreign recruiting.

Gonzaga has a lot of internationals. I don’t know if there is something shady with that but there is not any notion of that from anywhere. It’s actually a great plan for when you are dealing with a school like Gonzaga

I do trust Michigan under belein. But they have a shady past

Kansas and Arizona and obviously LSU are dirty as hell

If Wisconsin cheated Tyler herro would be nowhere near Kentucky this year

Look. I know it makes tigers fans feel better by deflecting the garbage wade pulled to every other school in the world. I’m not going to spend a lot of time debating that with you. Maybe it helps you wake up in the morning

But you are wrong that everyone cheats that wins. Just wrong

I’ve said it before and I will say it again. Instead of making some sort of martyr of will fricking wade you should be pissed that he treated your school like it was Memphis or umass. LSU can be a better program than that. How about actually being a coach than a dirtbag used car salesman

Oops, looks like I made a spelling error, but don't act like you didn't know what I was talking about.

Gonzaga has been the best program on the west coast for a decade. That includes UCLA usc Oregon etc. I don’t get why people think that just because they are small that they don’t cheat. You can go through their recruits and find high four occasional 5 stars from Texas Chicago etc that had big school offers and ended up in Spokane

Creighton is allegedly part of the wiretaps and $100,000 gifts.

Creighton.

This really where I'm at. Whether it's in recruiting or keeping kids eligible or extra benefited to get them to stay instead of maybe going overseas to play, I think pretty much everyone is doing something shady at some point or another.

I think they should expand their 'process' and take some pages out of saban's book. It may cost more than one charger or challenger... but as a HC, you'll walk away clean and have a stellar program in just a couple years.

Absolutely unless you are a Catholic school with special access to some kids or blessed with a bunch of the heirs of Eastern European giants to choose from like Wisky. And yes it is always the coaches who head up, orchestrate and do the cheating! 110%! Football and baskets!

Haven't been caught yet. As expectations grow, so does the pressure. That's when the trouble starts

The shady networks are already in place. Set up by the shoe companies, agents and runners, and AAU.

All the coach has to do is be complicit. He literally HAS to do it

All these schools are cheating. It’s the way of business. Even teams that are middle of the pack are cheating. If you win single digit number of games every year it’s safe to say you MAY not be cheating.

To be a top team year in and year out, yes. Same goes for football. Anyone who thinks otherwise is naive.

For the record, I believe players, especially top ones should absolutely be paid. Would be nice if the NCAA would allow it and give teams that want to do things the right way an opportunity to be successful while doing so.
