Not sure but its like the SEC colluded to make sure TX had a real easy schedule this season. If they were not named TX and in the ACC or Big 12 they would be ranked like # 13 now instead of # 3. The one good thing about this 2 year scheduling is Georgia finally had to play a harder schedule.

We need to go back to 10 teams with each playing a nine-game conference schedule.

It would be easier make 8 game schedule to just pair off with one permanent rival and play everyone every other year. It actually would make for pretty balanced schedules. But league just has to have Bama-Tenn / UGA-Aub ??

Missouri / Arkansas
Texas / Oklahoma
Texas A&M / LSU
Ole Miss / Miss St
Alabama / Auburn
Vanderbilt / Tennessee
Kentucky / South Carolina
Florida / Georgia

No. Divisions limited matchups too much. Having just 1 rotating game was ridiculous and made for years and years if never playing a conference team.

Like the fact that UGA has still never been to College Station since they joined the SEC, that South Carolina only went to Tuscaloosa once during the Saban era etc. Things like that are ridiculous.

That doesn't get the SEC back to actually being the SEC.

Just get rid of the SECCG imo. It's very likely it costs us playoff bids going forward

No but it’s pretty stupid that the schedule remains the same next season

I am not a fan of potentially watching a championship of 2 teams that we didn’t play.

If Bama and Texas make it, I’d be mad as an Ole Miss fan. It’s possible they could have beaten both of those teams.

I like the idea of rotating putting 2 pods together for the divisions each year.

It would add common opponents to everyone's conference schedules

So you prefer like this year & the claim of Tx. getting an easy schedule.

Yes. The SOS disparity between Texas and Georgia is outrageous and would be solved with divisions.

If you want to play non-division teams more often, go to a 9 or 10 game conference schedule.

Increasing the number of games to 9 would solve a lot of problems. Keeping it at 8 limits your options a lot.

The only balance would be even H/A conf. games.
(Preferably all on campuses.)

UGA @ TA&M SHOULD have been scheduled for this year.

I’m thinking that’s a clue of expansion for 2026.
