How so ?

Well if UGA has to worry about guarding Metchie and Williams they can't crash the line to stop the run as much and if Young has receivers he trusts and can get open he can rid of the ball quicker leading to less pressure.

Exactly like the SECCG played out.

I didn't see anything from uga that suggested they had an answer for that last night. If the third and fourth string WR's could have caught balls that hit them directly in the hands Bama still beats uga last night.

A healthy Jamo and Metchie crushes uga. Say what you want, but Everyone knows it's true.

Um. Let’s see. Imagine is LSU was not playing with its taxi squad we would hv beat Alabama too.
See how that works.

I do think Bama wins. But injuries are part of the game. Bama benefited when Colt Mccoy went down.

There are "injuries," and then there is your first round WR1, WR2, and starting RB being out... that's beyond "injuries" - That's "this isn't our year." And that's how it played out

Yea, I actually thought UGA would have a better plan defensively but given they were still getting open even without Williams and Metchie it really seems like it would have played out just like the SECCG. But, it didn't and UGA fans won't, and shouldn't care about that one bit.

I’m not sure what is dumber between thinking that their absence didn’t hurt Bama and lower Bama’s chance to win the game or thinking that it actually matters. You play with who you got and whoever wins, wins. That’s the nature of the game.

And here it is. The Alabama fan(s) that have to say "we really have the best team regardless of the score".

Do we get all of our players too? Then no, you still lose.

Hypotheticals are for losers. Take this L and go sit and stew with the loss like a man

If you're going to go down that road, Bama wouldn't even have been there if Bo Nix hadn't gotten hurt.

Stomp? Maybe not, but maybe since UGA was the better overall team.
There were at least 2 TDs that likely wouldn't have been dropped.

If Kirby had consistently attacked the Bama corners, they would have scored at will. They didn't.

Lot of "ifs" in that game, but back in reality land UGA won.

They were not changing their strategy based on personal last night. Their focus was Young and putting pressure on him. His accuracy is affected when pressured. If you want to blame the game on something, blame their inability to have the QB run the ball. UGA never gave him a second thought in that area.
