Alabama fatigue is real whether you accept it or not. The committee will not risk damaging its own credibility while simultaneously devaluing the regular season and divisional/conference championships just because Alabama wishes to be in the playoffs. They were allowed in previously because it was a down year across the board in college football and they could maximize profits by adding Alabama. That is not the case this year or moving forward.

Auburn fans aren’t the ones who are arguing they deserve a spot in the playoff discussion despite:

1. Losing at home to the one rank team they’ve play nine weeks into the season.

2. Allowing that team to put up almost 50 points on you.

3. Having lost 44-16 to the last ranked team they played before LSU, which thanks to your pathetically weak schedule was last season.

Honestly, can you as a serious college football fan point to one thing Alabama has done in 2019 that warrants them being in the playoff picture? Where the signature win? Alabama isn’t entitled to a playoff spot. They have to earn it like everyone else. And they’ve not done anything to earn it.
