Does Arch have another year of eligibility?

this doesn't look like his year. I expect him to be better by the end of the season, but he doesn't look capable of leading Texas to the promised land this season.
If he comes back, next year, I can see it if he still has a good team surrounding him. I'm thinking he's like a lot of players, they are just a little behind the curve until their final year and then it clicks.

If we go to the promised land this year, it’s our Defense that will be leading us. Arch is Arch, all we can do at this point is hope he gets to a point where he is consistently serviceable as a QB.

Sark is their problem. If he doesn’t win it all this year it’s time for Texas to make a move. He’s had a ton of talent and comes up short every year.

If tweet fails to load, click here. He did just fine yesterday. Made some great throws, had over a 70% completion rate. The lack of a run game was a detriment to him.
At the end of the day, if Coleman and Wingo make 2 catches against Ohio State, there’s a completely different narrative around Arch right now. He sleep walks into UTSA (nobody cares) and has a decent game against Jim Knowles, who Sark struggles against.

I’ll take that, and acknowledge the point. But damn, it’s so hard to deny the fact that we have been less than stellar on offense.
Less than stellar… The understatement of the week.
I need to see us blow a game open with Arch Manning. I’ll continue to hold out hope. But my faith is with the defense.

That’s a valid concern. I expect Texas to beat OU by 30+ on paper next game, but they’ll be motivated (probably more than us) so it could be closer than expected. The schedule sure isn’t easy but the offense has gotta gel or there will be a couple losses in the next few games.

Coaching may not help, but Arch simply doesn’t have it between the ears. He also has the coordination of a baby giraffe

On their second TD drive, Wingo saved his arse on 3rd and 8. Ball was behind him but he adjusted and made the catch. Then Herbnuts kept saying he put the ball on the money.

Yes. It is a Sark thing. Acknowledging that Ewers wasn't all that, but seeing Arch offense sputter too. You see how the genius offensive HC is the bigger problem. Yeah, he can design an offense but he has no game flow. No feel for when to run the ball or take the shot.
He needs an OC to run his offense.

Wingo found the hole in the zone and sat it down. He had to make a routine catch lol. What even is that comment.
