I know this team is good enough, but going all the way is tough. As an Alabama fan who's always wanted to see BAMA in the Final Four, I hope the dream finally becomes a reality. This is as good of a chance as we'll ever have. This is a great team, and the seeding is as good as it gets.

The OU game was more about the OU offense going off and abusing us. We didn’t shoot it well from 3, but we’ve won several games this season where we’ve struggled from there because our defense picked up the slack.

Not after winning SEC. That’s asking for too many W’s in a row against good competition.

It’s an interesting point. Only 3 of the last 10 National Champs won their conference tourney

That being said, there are more at larges in the Tourney than conference champs. Not to mention that in any given year, all of the 13 through 16 seeds (the presumed worst teams in the Tourney) are only there because the won their conference tournament

Oh, I forgot. Your shots weren’t hitting recently.

No, someone will take away the 3pt line like OU and they will lose

Teams have been doing that or trying to do that most of the year. Bama has won quite a few games shooting under 30% from 3. They have some ways to survive cold shooting because they are a very good rebounding team, a very good defensive team, a very good FT made per game team, and they shoot a high percentage on 2 point FG because they are almost exclusively paint shots.

To me Alabama's achilles heel has been turnovers. An off night from 3 PLUS a lot of turnovers in the same game is the recipe for disaster for this team.

They are the deepest and most complete team in college basketball. They are the favorites to win, imo. But the tournament is weird and hopefully they lose round 1.

Of course they can. A 1 seed? Why couldn't they?

Can you imagine this board if Bama loses Thursday?

Unprecedented SECRant carnage.

I would say most Final Four teams each year have a combination of talent, luck, and hitting a hot streak at the right time.

Only one of those things are under your control.

It’s hard for me to not believe it. They play great defense most of the time, and even if the threes aren’t falling they have enough physically to score buckets in the paint.
I think they have a really good shot unless Miller gets indicted and has to sit.

That’s a lot of assumptions. You may not play any of those teams.

That ship has sailed. Whether he had criminal intent or not (which none of us can really know) the ADA made a public statement that it can’t really walk back (technically it could, but practically speaking it can’t).

Almost proves my point. I was amped when we were gonna play 11-seeded UCLA in the Sweet 16 2 years ago. Turns out they were maybe the hottest team in America and were a half-court buzzer beater away from making the National Championship Game

Take your pick, Captain Retard.

I think it's both. No coincidence the majority of them are LSU and barn fans.

Yes.

Oats said, “they are high character guys.”

No one can beat them.

Done deal.

Congrats on the Nattie.

Yes. But they’ve honestly won too many games in a row. Think they’ll drop one. But they absolutely have the tools to get there.
They've won 3 games in a row.

I think alabama has a shot this year. In the past any game you weren't hitting 3's you were done and that's a reciept for defeat. This year's team is different and although I think it's shameful what you did in the regular season, they looked to have a shooters chance at the natty.
