Considering the tigers almost laughable inability to create offense and the bama defense continually setting themselves in prime field position or scoring themselves

Does bama even need a competent qb to win this game anymore

They beat LSU twice with Jalen Hurts under center. Hes a running back playing QB.

Yet he was the one Saban ran looking for when the almighty Tua folded.

You may have missed it but the previous year Tua replaced an ineffective (yet again) Jalen Hurts and won another national title for Alabama.

Oh yeah, and Tua Tagovailoa set an all time ncaa record last year for passing efficiency.

Seems like we're starting these awfully early this year, but I agree that Bama can't lose.

Obviously not since Tua looked like the hind wheels of hell performance wise in two of Bama's final three games. So he was way over rated based on how he finished up against better teams. Therefore a Bama team is still in good shape vs LSU playing ever who is handy.

Let Mac Jones start and Bama would eventually score...not sure LSU would.

Jesus you’re an idiot. Tua was injured. He played with a high ankle sprain and then tried to come back out once he bruised his other foot. No one folded you inbred jackass.

Jalen was the backup QB. Why wouldn’t Saban put him in? Hurts is an Alabama legend and won the game completing his redemption. I’ll never say anything negative about Jalen other then being honest about his QB ability. Tua is just a better QB. Period.

Hurts was basically a RB his first 2 years but he improved dramatically as the backup. He fixed his throwing motion.
