Yes
And it’s not close

He was already running second team before he broke his foot

I thought they were the Offenses weak link. They caused Hurts to leave the pocket early and forced him to run the ball. Even in the Championship Game, Tua was pressure into throwing into triple coverage three times.

This will be Bama's best O-line since 2012 (as long as nobody else gets injured).

They’ll say no now, but if Alabama ends up having a really good RB or RB duo they’ll say it’s because of Alabama’s elite OL rather then how good the RBs are.
Actually, this is true!

UGA secondary cost them in both of their loses.
Cost us in the second loss. I'm not sure it would have mattered in the first loss. We were just not ready and got dominated. It happens.

Yes.
LT: Jonah Williams is entering his third year as a starter and is hyped as a top 10 draft pick
LG: Lester Cotton is entering his second year as a starter and played some the year before that. Highly touted out of HS, this may be the year he really shines.
C: Ross Pierschbacher is entering his FOURTH year as a starter. He's been really solid and was All-SEC last year, could push for All-American this season.
RG: Jedrick Willis Jr. OR Alex Leatherwood will be a first year starter, both looked GREAT as reserves last season and may be the two most talented OL on a roster with a top 10 pick in Jonah Williams.
RT: Alex Leatherwood OR Jedrick Willis Jr. See above
This should be Bama's best OL since 2012.

A lot of times Hurts left the pocket early because he has poor pocket awareness, not because he was actually being pressured. Been watching back most of our snaps from last year and Jalen wan't pressured near as much as his running around would make you think.

Not as good as 2012, but probably one of the best we’ve had under Saban.
Yeah, probably better than everyone else.

Did it count as a sack every time Hurts took forever to just run out of bounds for a 5 yard loss if Ridley wasn't open instead of throwing it away? I'm not sure if that is a sack or just a loss on a run as far as stats go, but Hurts did that quite a bit last year

Womack is out. Season is over for Bama. Depeted roster. Poor recruiting. It was a good run, Bama. All things come to an end.

Maybe talent wise.
Statistically, Mizzou has had the best O-line in the conference/nation and returns everyone.

Look again, especially against the good DLs (MSU, AU, LSU, Clemson and UGA). The rest of the league was average at best on the DL but Bama still struggled protecting Hurts (and Tua).
In those 5 games alone, Bama's OL gave up 29 TFL plays.

Bama and UGA 1a and 1b.
UGA only lost one starter on the line, but added three blue chips to the depth chart.
Lots of experience there, and added more talent to the depth chart.

Former five star Alex Leatherwood that performed at an elite level in the national title game.

Hurts
I think he was the reason there wasn't more.

Well, we could continue to ask meaningless, stupid, and whimsical questions or we could let the season play out and base our decisions upon actual reality. You kids keep playing your fantasy games.
