Sorry I'm Ag illiterate. And it is trees not live animals. I personally am more sympathetic to animals than I am plants.

Football doesn't exist outside the SEC.

Y'all need to take my advice and let go of Texas.

We did. LSU is a significant upgrade in terms of a rival.

based on the reaction after the Bama win against LSU, I believe ours is Bama as much as the gumps wouldn't admit.

If bama wants to party after losing a series, I have no problem with it. Just still laughing at it.

The LSU/Tulane hate is pretty intense, ever seen a redneck and a New Jersey Jew throw down?

I thought Jackie Sherrill took his pocket knife and de-nutted bevo or something like that? I seem to remember that years ago for some reason. Or wait, maybe that happened while he was at MSU ... seems like more of an acceptable SEC troll than a punk-assed Big 12 practice quite frankly. He won that game, didn't he?

Would you enjoy a similar rivalry for your school? Or, do you believe it already exists with a rival?

Yeah, we probably have something similar.

State hates Ole Miss as much as either Auburn or Bama hates the other. Ole Miss roots as hard against State as they do against us, but it's only because they're so goddamn obnoxious when they don't lose. If they would just shut the frick up about it, we wouldn't care any more about them than we do anyone else. For some reason, our silence after winning makes them seethe with even greater hatred than if we were talking shite.

If LSU would just accept our rivalry application, I'd be much happier with that sort of rivalry. We might hate each other, but in my experience Ole Miss folks and LSU folks can drink and eat and have have enjoyable conversations about mutual interests at the same time that we hope for the worst for the other. I hate LSU way more than I hate State, but I'd just as soon never get within shouting distance of some boring arse State fan shoving vienna sausages down his throat to hide the fact that he has nothing to say. (Same goes for Auburn and, I fear from my limited experience with them thus far, Aggies.)

So to answer your question, we already have half of a rivalry like that with State, and it fricking sucks. If Ole Miss were ever to return the hate that State sends our way, that would be pretty intolerable.

Ole Miss and State hate is worse than Bama/Auburn hate I promise. It literally eats me alive when State is successful in anything. Nothing made me happier than the monumental break down all State fans had after losing 5 of their last 6 games.

I assure you the same applies to Auburn/Alabama.

First boss was a Korean war generation LSU alumni, he'd mention college station and Texas A&M every once in awhile with terms of pure hatred...I think we'll get there again...
