I could give two rips about Ohio State. Eventually they were going to beat some SEC team again. They last beat LSU in 1989, then they beat us this past year.
I find it sort of entertaining though that they did beat an SEC team, but now their programs seems to be in shambles. The head coach has been proven to be a flat out liar, the program as a whole is a cheat.

I'm sitting next to an Ohio native right now at work. "We Hate Art, Lebron, UM, UF, SEC in that order." And the "SEC" chant makes him red in the face.

First off, Ohio State beats SEC teams on a regular basis in all sports.
Cross country and underwater basket weaving dont count brah.

Secondly, no one in Columbus really cares all that much about basketball.
They seemed to be really into it until around 8pm or so last night.

Thirdly, we don't pay that much attention to SEC football. I try and catch one or two games a year.
Despite what you all tell yourselves, outside of the Southeast no one pays that much attention to the SEC. Just like you all don't pay much attention the the Big Ten.
Riddle me this, if you dont pay much attention to the SEC, then why are you lurking around the SECrant? hhhhhmmmmm?

Well their a buncha dumbasses because yall have a great program. Just can't beat those SEC teams in the tourney.

Well you should, we play a pretty good brand of ball down here. Just ask Troy Smith or Beanie.

Yea you're right. being the most dominant conference in 20 years and winning 5 STRAIGHT NCs (as well as 7 of the 13 bcs NCs) doesn't impress anyone.

Your best post. I'm impressed.

I have run into OSU fans all around the country wearing Gator stuff and it never fails to get some comment about how lucky we were in '06, or calling Meyer a cheater, or some other ridiculous comment. There are always a ton of anti-Gator threads on OSU message boards. OSU fans have a general animosity towards the SEC and UF in particular.

All football fans should at least tune into the SECCG to see who the next National Champion is going to be...

A ton of tOSU fans claim that if the '06 NC game was played 10 times, they would win 8-9 of the games.

They say if Ginn wasn't hurt they win. Like dmb said, they always tell you they would win 9 out of 10 we just won the one game. I just always say 82. You gained 82 offensive yards.

1-8 vs the SEC in bowl games. You say OSU beats the SEC in all sports on a regular basis and follow that statement up with " no one in Columbus really cares about basketball."

Despite what you keep telling yourself, the SEC is the most widely distributed conference in the country, thanks to the 15 year $2 billion deal with signed with ESPN...that goes along with the 15 year deal with signed with CBS as well. There must be interest all over the country...ESPN inks such deals to make money from adverstising. Advertisers like big audiences. ESPN-SEC

Maybe...but therein lies the difference between the SEC and the other conferences - depth.
